Suspension Appeals
Suspensions of 3 games or more may be formally appealed. To initiate a suspension appeal, the team must provide a $50 bond. Should the appeal be reduced by more than 1 game, the bond will be returned to the team/player who paid the bond.
For all appeals, we require a statement from the offending player and at least one other supporting statement from the team.
Any suspensions marked as indefinite pending review and sent for immediate review to determine disciplinary length will not be subject to appeal as the decision will have been already made by the disciplinary committee.
Appeal Review Process
The league will collect statements from both teams, the officials, as well as any game footage available. This information will then be forwarded to a disciplinary committee comprised of two league staff, two senior referees, and three player representatives. These individuals may vary from appeal to appeal to ensure they have no ties to either team involved in the incident. The decision of the disciplinary committee will be considered final. They reserve the right to lengthen suspensions if they feel the initial suspension warrants additional games.
